Description:

These are lists of marriages and divorces held in Petah Tikva, Israel during the years 1932-33. They have a just the names of the bride and groom and date of the event. These lists are from the Oded Yarkoni Petah Tikva History Archive.

Instructions:

If the name is illegible, either skip it or write illegible. At the top of some of the pages it states if this list is of marriages נישואין or divorces גירושין. If you are working on the top half of the page put this information in the "event" field. If you don't see this information, leave the "event" field blank. The information about the groom/husband is in the right hand column and the information about the bride/wife is in the left hand column. Their ages come after their names. In the farthest left hand column is the date of the event. In the 1933 list of divorces, the wife's maiden name appears in parentheses.
