Description:
This is the "Telephone Directory" for July 1941. It has six sections of subscribers: Government, Military and R.A.F., Jerusalem, Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Haifa (for Haifa Bay see other exchanges), & Other Exchanges. The information listed is the telephone number, Surname, Given Name, and some times the occupation or profession, and/or name of the street. At that time, very few people had a phone at home.
Instructions:
Please fill in the following information: Business Name (including Government Offices), Surname, Given Name, title, Profession or occupation, and address. If the line is in capital and bold letters, please type it in the same format as the other lines. The British use "do", to mean duplicate. Please type the relevant information from the line above. The phone number is not to be transcribed because they have changed many times since then.
